Teaching people the word of God that brings conviction and leads them to true repentance, which is followed by signs, wonders and miracles – making God’s Kingdom a reality on earth.
Reformation
Transforming communities, cities and every sphere of society by training and teaching believers and sending them out to go and make followers of Jesus.

Our Pastors
God’s beloved, my name is Lucio and my wife is Carmen, and
we have been blessed with two beautiful daughters and two rescued felines that complete the Basson family.
​
Both of us are born and bred Capetonians, and only moved to Pretoria in 2019 for a stint of four years, in obedience to the Lord.
​
I studied through the South African Theological Seminary(SATS), and I’ve been in full time ministry for seven years, as part of the Living Word family. My wife, who Co-Pastors with me, is a qualified Interior Designer with her own company.
​
Our passion is to serve the body of Christ with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially the prophetic, deliverance and healing ministries.
​
The vision for BE LIGHT AFRICA, is a HEALTHY CHURCH LEADING PEOPLE TO JESUS.
