RECONCILIATION
Helping people find their true identity as sons and daughters of God by re-uniting them with their Father, through His Son Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Teaching people the word of God that brings conviction and leads them to true repentance, which is followed by signs, wonders and miracles - making God’s Kingdom a reality on earth.
REVIVAL
REFORMATION
Transforming communities, cities and every sphere of society by training and teaching believers and sending them out to go and make followers of Jesus.

Be Light Church was birthed from God’s heart for Africa, with a vision to influence nations. We seek to create a vibrant, diverse Christian community that moves beyond religious constraints, celebrating individuality while encouraging an authentic pursuit of Jesus.

God is active in our daily lives, so Be Light Church embraces the supernatural—prophecy, healing, miracles, and powerful works of God. Entrusted with His mission of reconciliation, revival, and reformation, we aim to spread Jesus’ light across the Nations. Our country has been marked by racial division and xenophobia, and we’re driven to heal these injustices, by illuminating hearts with God’s extravagant love, uniting every race, color, and culture.
Lucio and Carmen Basson are the visionary leaders of Be Light Africa, committed to building a healthy, Spirit-led church that leads people to Jesus and equips them to walk in freedom, identity, and purpose.
Born and raised in Cape Town, they followed God’s call to Pretoria for four years before returning to continue their mission. They are the proud parents of two daughters; and two rescued cats.
Lucio, a SATS graduate, carries a dual mantle for both marketplace and ministry, and walks in a clear apostolic calling. He is passionate about seeing God’s Kingdom advance in every sphere through freedom, leadership, and supernatural trans-formation.
Carmen is a prophetic voice to the nation of South Africa and co-pastor at Be Light. With a deep heart for deliverance, healing, and spiritual warfare, she is passionate about equip-ping people to hear God's voice clearly and training women to discover their identity and calling in Christ.
Be Light Church also functions as an Apostolic Training Centre, with a strong focus on deliverance, healing, the prophetic, and spiritual warfare, a place where people are equipped, empowered, and sent.
The Bassons deeply value spiritual accountability and healthy leadership. They are submitted under the covering of Anton and Kari Smith (Kingdom GPS) and are passionate about building a connected and flourishing Body of Christ.
